First College Update

Hello!

I want to apologize about how infrequent my blog updates have been, but it has just been one of those months where a lot of tedious, uninteresting, and energy-sapping stuff has been going on...

Well, as far as what has been going on since my last post... lets see...

-I moved into the dorms with Jon Mahan. That in itself has been an adventure. But it's been good. Living with him the rest of the semester will stretch me a little bit, get me out of my comfort zone... a lot...

I took some pictures of my room, and i will try to get those out somehow. Actually I have a lot of other pictures from around here. So I will try to get those out too.

-My classes have started. I am taking a total of 8 credit hours. I am taking Calculus 1910, 4 days a week, for one hour, at 8:00 am. I am also taking Connections to Engineering 1020, and Introduction to Sociology 1somthing. The Engineering class is 2 one hour periods, one on Monday and the other on Thursday. Sociology is 3 one hour periods, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

They are all really boring. Haha. I actually don't mind Calculus all that much, but the other two classes aren't that great.

-Last big thing that has been going on is that I am working as well. I work in one of the restaurants here on Campus, for 20 hours a week, 4 days (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). The place is called "Mondo's Subs." It's pretty much a Subway clone, but the food is better. I work from 5:00 to 10:00 in the afternoons, and guess what, I'm the cashier. Big Surprise there. It's not like I have been the Cashier for every job I have ever had before...

Well, anywatever, that's pretty much everything of note that has been going on with me.
I do want to thank everyone for the e-mails and other messages. They are really encouraging, even though I usually don't write back. It's not that I don't miss everyone or anything like that. Its more that I can't think of anything to say.

So thanks for everything. I STILL MISS EVERYONE A LOT! And I wish that I could come back sooner, but until then I will just have to grind my teeth and keep at it.

EI TODO MUNDO!

Quero pedir desculpas sobre a frequencia dos meus updates. Mas e' que foi um daqueles meses bem cheias de coisas chatas, desinteresantes, e sugadores de energia...

Bem, sobre o que estas coisas incluem... Vamos ver...

-Eu mudei para os Dorms para dividir um quarto com Jon Mahan. Isto, em si, ja e' uma adventura. Mas ate' agora foi bom. Vivendo com ele esta me esticando, me levando para fora da minha zona de conforto... muito mesmo...

Eu tirei algumas fotos do meu quarto, e vou tentar mandar eles de alguma forma. Na verdade ja tirei muitos fotos do Campus e outras coisas, entao vou tentar mandar esses tambem.

-As minhas aulas iniciaram. Eu tenho apenas 8 horas de aula por semana. Estou estudando Calculo por 1 hora, quatro vezes por semana, as 8:00 da manha. Tenho mais duas aulas, Sociologia e 'conexao(?) a Engenharia.' Tenho Sociologia 3 vezes por semana por uma hora, e tenho a aula de Engenharia 2 vezes por semana por uma hora tambem.

Sao todos muito chatos... Ahaha, brincando. Na verdade Calculo nao e' tao chato assim, mas as outras duas aulas nao sao muito interesantes.

-A ultima coisa e' que eu achei um emprego aqui no Campus. Eu estou trabalhando num restaurante muito parecido com Subway. O lugar chama Mondo's Subs. Eu trabalho la 4 dias por semana, por 5 horas. E OLHA! QUEM DIRIA, eu estou trabalhando na caixa do lugar. QUE GRANDE SUPRESA! Nao e' como se eu tenho trabalhado na caixa de todo lugar que trabalho...

Bem, isso e' tudo que consigo lembrar de interesante agora.
Eu quero agradecer todo mundo pelos e-mails e mensagens. Eles sao muito encorajadores, mesmo se nao respondo para todos eles. Nao e' como se eu nao ligasse mais ou nao sentise saudades mais. Geralmente e' que nao consigo pensar em nada para escrever.

Mas mesmo assim, Obrigado denovo. SINTO TANTA SAUDADE! Querio muito fazer uma visita, mas ate la eu vou continuar fazendo esforco, estudando e tudo mais.

SMP is OVER!

Hey everybody!

I'm really sorry that I haven't been able to keep this blog updated very well this summer. But now that SMP is finally over, I can hopefully devote a little more time to consistently updating it.

Anyway I am writing this in Knoxville at my cousin's house. I will be heading back to Nashville this Sunday. I will be there with my Grandmother, until I move into the Dorms at the end of August... That's a really scary thought... hmm...

Well Anyway, I HAVE A CAR NOW! It is a black 93 Ford Explorer. It has been at my Grandmother's, but I finally bought a new tag and transfered the deed over to my name yesterday. So it really is mine now. I am going to give it a name and am still open to suggestions...

I'm afraid that that is all the news I have right now. I do have a lot of stories from SMP though. I will put some of them up here for y'all to enjoy.

Thanks for being there when I called and for praying for me all summer.

Oh yeah. On a separate note, www.smashbros.com has gotten a really extensive update. Yeah! Also, Blizzard has opened up the terran section of starcraft2.com, and added new units to the protoss section. SUPER DOUBLE MEGA YEAH!!! That's all for now.

Ola todo mundo!

Desculpa que eu nao passei muitos updates aqui durante o Projeto nas Montanhas, nas agora que acabou, eu espero que isto vai mudar.

Agora eu estou na casa da minha prima que mora em Knoxville. E Domingo ja vou estar voltando para a casa da minha avo em Nashville, ate o final de Agosto, quando eu vou mudar para os dormitorios do TTU... Que pensamento assustador... hmm...

Bom, EU TENHO UM CARRO AGORA! E um Ford Explorer cor preto do ano 93. Ele esteve na casa da minha avo, e ontem eu comprei uma placa e o carro passou para o meu nome. Entao agora ele e meu mesmo. Eu estou querendo dar um nome a ele e estou aberto a suggestoes.

Infelizmente, esses sao todas as minhas noticias que vou dar agora. Mas eu tenho muitas historias do PnM. Vou colocar algumas aqui para voces se divertirem um pouco.

Ah, e mais uma ultima coisa. O site dos Super Smash Bros (www.smashbros.com) recebeu um grande update. Oba! E Acima disso, o Blizzard abriu a parte Terran do site do Starcraft2 (www.starcraft2.com). SUPER DUPLO MEGA OBA!!! Isso e o final mesmo.

First SMP Update

Hello Everyone!

Sorry that I haven't posted anything since the SMP started, but a lot has been going on.
I have met my roommates: J.C. Fore, Patrick Parker, and Jacob Brooks(the room leader). They are all nice, but I am still everyone's little brother... again...

I am working in a place called Red's Diner in Dollywood. I am the cashier at the front register. It's a 50s style fast food restaurant. Both Patrick and Jacob work with me there. Jacob helps working the grill, and Patrick fill drinks. I will have some pictures soon; I'll post them here or on my photo album(www.t-mobilepictures.com/MattBaileyAlbum2007).

I really miss everyone a lot. I will try to have more updates soon.

Desculpa que eu nao fiz um update desde que eu chegei aqui no PROJETO NAS MONTANHAS! Muita coisa esta acontecendo aqui, porque e o inicio do projeto mas isso vai melhorar.

Eu conheci os meus 'companheiros de quarto.' Eles sao: J.C. Fore, Patrick Parker, e Jacob Brooks(o nosso lider). Eles sao legais, mas eu sou o "irmaozinho" de todos aqui... denovo...

Dollywood.Eu estou trabalhando num restaurante chamado 'Red's Diner' num Parque de Diversao,. O restaurante e estilo anos 50 e servimos comida tipo MacDonald's, mas bem mais caro. Eu trabalho na caixa da frente. Jacob e Patrick tambem trabalham la. Jacob trabalha fritando comida, e Patrick trabalha com as bebidas. The Premiere of Pirates 3

I went to see Pirates of the Caribbean today. I went to see it with some friends of mine that are here in Nashville. I really liked it.
My mom got here today. So now I have to go back to eating green salads and brushing my teeth again...
...Just kidding. But not much else has been going on.

A minha mae chegou aqui hoje de manha. Acho que isso significa que vou ter que comencar a comer saladas e escovar os dentes denovo...
